All Black Fashion Inspiration

Hi loves!

Everyone has lost a loved one or has seen and experienced a situation in which another person has lost their loved one. In less than a year I have lost two very important people in my life, my grandmas. While black clothing is almost always appropriate, some religions and cultures expect family to dress in black 40-60 days or even a year in order to show respect for the deceased.

I do not want to continue with the sad topic so I will show you all in the next 40-60 days how I am going to pull off black clothing every single day. I will show you a wide variety of outfits and styles you can try and I hope you will like them!

Today I wore a black sweater with an ice cream detailing (so that I do not wear head-to-toe black) tucked in the black leather skirt which hugs my waist line. When it comes to socks, I chose black ones, however the outfit would look perfect with beige ones, too. These boots are my current favourite and as you could read in my previous blog, they can be worn with different styles of outerwear. No matter what they are paired with, they always put out a romantic vibe.

I spent the afternoon in one of my favourite places in Belgrade – Hotel Moskva. I ate the delicious prosciutto sandwich while drinking tea with my mother and relaxing. I love how decorated Hotel Moskva is at this season, I can’t wait for Christmas!

I hope you all liked my outfit today, feel free to leave a comment below and tell me what you think!

Sparkly Season

December. One of the most beautiful months of the year. Christmas is getting closer so I enjoy choosing my outfits so that they can blend in the holiday spirit. One of my favourite items in my closet during this season is this gorgeous sparkly sweater. The thing I love about it the most is the fact that it can be paired with everything you choose to wear it with. It’s comfortable and warm on one hand and very elegant on the other. Even though it might at first look like it can be worn for special occasions only, you would be impressed how it can make an amazing everyday outfit. So far I have worn it with jeans, black leggings (I wore my fluffy black/white cardigan over it, it can make any outfit pop) and classy beige pants. My absolute favourite shoes for this season are high heeled knee boots. They are cozy, warm and super stylish and can be worn with different styles of outerwear.

Let me know how you would style this sweater, just comment below, I love hearing from you!

My Little Italian Diary – Florence

Day 3

Hi loves!

Travelling on a rainy day may seem to be monotonous to some people, however rain perfectly blends in the atmosphere and the architecture in Florence. When we got in Florence, we were given a city map and we began our adventure. I was amazed by the beauty of Duomo and how I was able to feel the spirit of Renaissance all around it. After taking some pictures and enjoying the delicious chocolate from the Lindt Chocolate Shop we continued walking through the streets of Florence. After sometime we found ourselves in the Central Market which is situated on San Lorenzo. I was surprised with the variety of food, leather bags, belts, scarves and many more things they sell on this market. While shopping in the market, the smell of fresh rain was mixing with the smells of delicious dishes and the colourful leather items. After grabbing a bite to eat, we didn’t have much time left in this amazing city, so we decided to explore Florence as much as we can and buy souvenirs before we get on the bus and continue our Italian journey.

In Florence I wore a simple black shirt and half leather leggings, which I matched with my black leather ankle boots. On my trip to Italy, I chose outfits that would match the places I’m visiting – classy but not over the top.

My Little Italian Diary – San Marino

Day 2, Part 2

Hi loves!

I am sorry I have been inactive in the past few weeks. I will write a special blog explaining the reason why. Today’s blog post is about San Marino.

When I first heard ‘San Marino’ I honestly imagined a place similar to Nice, France – full of casinos, fabulous restaurants and shops. However, once I had arrived I realised that San Marino is everything the opposite of what I had imagined. San Marino is the capital of the Republic of San Marino and it is situated high up on a mountain top. It is surrounded by a wall and towers which have a spectacular view of the surrounding countryside. Walking through the streets of San Marino I remembered the old-fashioned long streets in Cinque Terre which looked almost exactly the same – filled with souvenir shops and classy restaurants. After admiring the breathtaking view from the centre of the city and taking some pictures, we decided to explore San Marino while looking for a restaurant where we will have lunch.

I felt like I was in a fairytale when I saw a street filled with white statues, benches and colourful flowers.

We found a fantastic restaurant for lunch, ambiance and a stunning view, conjured up a magical afternoon as we looked down on the countryside and the mountains surrounding this city.

The time flies when you’re having fun and soon it was time to leave this brilliant city back to our hotel in Rimini and get ready for the next adventure – Florence.

In San Marino I wore black elastic pants which I matched with a grey shirt. I tucked in the shirt so it shapes my body. I again wore my favourite black ankle boots and a brown middle sized bag in which all my needs during the travel can fit. This outfit can be both dressy and casual depending on the lipstick colour you choose – a cute light pink lipstick for the day to the night with red or any darker lipstick shade.

My Little Italian Diary – Italia in Miniatura

Day 2, Part 1
Hi loves! I hope you all had a lovely week and will have a wonderful weekend ahead.

After waking up in Rimini, getting ready and having breakfast we got ready for our trip to San Marino.

Since I wasn’t met with the whole trip plan very well, I was surprised when our bus stopped in front of Italia in Miniatura. By it’s name, I could guess it would be a park with miniature replicas of the famous Italian buildings. When I got a park map, it actually reminded me a lot of how Disneyland is organised, just smaller.

Once we got inside, I noticed that the park still had a Halloween vibe. Huge spiders could be seen as a decoration on a Florence Cathedral and inside of the Colosseum. After roaming around through the famous Italian buildings, I decided to climb the miniature Alps.

Behind the Alps, I found out that Italia in Miniatura doesn’t only consist of Italian monuments, but overall some of the European most important ones, too. There is a miniature Eiffel Tower, St. Paul Cathedral, Neuschwastein Castle and many more. Next to the Europe in miniature there is a tiny zoo, but all I could see were parrots.

If any of you plan on visiting Italia in miniatura, I would suggest you not to come in the morning because then you wouldn’t be able to experience everything this park has to offer. Sailing down the Grand Canal in miniature Venice, driving on miniature roads or any of the extreme rides are the experience you cannot miss!

Stunning Fall Outfit Inspiration

Fall is here. Just like every year, I had difficulty switching from summer to fall clothes and I finally decided to take out the cool-weather clothes from my wardrobe. Today I wore my new burgundy blouse with bird detailing which I recently wore in Venice. You were able to see it on the pictures from my previous blog. In Venice I paired it with dirty-rose pants and a beige sweater. Today, I matched this blouse with a black leather skirt. It hugs my waist line and the rest flows with every move I make. The coat I am wearing is from Zara. It is both classy and comfortable and it can make any outfit pop! I had long black socks on, however wearing colourless long socks would look as good. For this season, I choose heeled ankle boots. The ones I bought recently are half leather half velvet. What I love about them the most is how they complete any look and act as the finishing touch. This bag is currently the prettiest thing I own. I have a little obsession with bags, and wherever I go – I buy a new one. Right now I am totally in love with this big symmetrical shoulder bag which can also be a cross-body bag with it’s elegant leather strap. It is fabulous and easy to carry around anywhere. It is unique with 3 different colours that look amazing together with a black bow detailing.

I hope you liked this look, have an amazing week ahead!

My Little Italian Diary – Venice

Day 1
Venice. My favourite city in this world I visited more than 10 times and every time I go I fall in love with it a bit more.

Waking up in Lido di Jesolo to a traditional Italian breakfast and getting ready for cruising to Venice. Luckily, our boat was like a regular Venice taxi and it was closed so we could not feel the cold early morning air. Once we have arrived, Venice was beautiful as always. Tourists exploring and enjoying Venice and the sun warming up the streets. Walking with our tour guide and listening to historical stories, which I have heard many times before but will never get tired of learning over and over again, we get to the San Marco Square where we get our free time. Since I was with friends this time, I did not have my usual Venice routine. I explored some new streets and some new stores. I saw Santa Maria della Salute from a new perspective and instead of eating the traditional prosciutto pizza in my favourite restaurant under the Rialto Bridge, I ate a croissant filled with prosciutto – which was delicious. My tradition every time I visit Venice, is buying new Murano glass necklaces. After shopping and enjoying Venice while taking pictures, it was time to get on our boat and continue our journey to Rimini. Sitting on the boat I was admiring the beauty of Venice while we were slowly moving away from this magnificent city. I was sad we were leaving, but I also knew I am going to come back soon and I am looking forward to it.
